About Us Print E-mail

Cyclenutz.com is the place to be for motorcycle enthusiasts of all levels. Whether you are just catching the motorcycling itch or have been riding for more years than you can remember, this is the place to be.

As part of your extended family we hope we can recommend motorcycle gear, technical advice, fun and informative reading material, or just a place to kick tires and tell lies about where you have been and what you have done.

It doesn't matter if you are a driver or passenger, have a Honda, Harley, BMW, Suzuki, Ducati, Yamaha or anything else. It's one big family when it comes to two wheels.

Welcome and remember, Keep the Shiny side up.

Well, just like there is no "I" in team, there is no "US" "in the "About Us" here at Cyclenutz.

What can I say, I like motorcycles and I like computers so I figured I'd combine the two and WALLA, Cyclenutz was born and thanks to Al Gores invention we so fondly call the Internet, you are here.

I can't remember exactly when I got interested in motorcycling but I didn't actually get the chance to ride until we moved to Wisconsin. My two brothers and myself shared a Honda XL75 and learned to ride it in our back yard. We were fortunate enough to also have an area near our house where our dad could ride the bike to and we could ride around in a field.

Both my father and mother dabbled in road racing and I had a blast being part of the pit crew. I also got my MSF instructor certification at 18yrs old and taught for a number of years until an off shift job prevented me from working the nights and weekends required. Teaching was very fulfilling and I think I will return to it some day to give something back to the sport that has given me so many fun memories.

Fast forward to today and the field we learned in has been replaced with blacktop and buildings. The XL75 has been replaced with a number of bikes. Everything from a GPZ305, which my first street bike, to crotchrockets like the Honda CBR, to my three Jack-of-all-trade Honda Sabre's, to more recently my BMW's. Currently you can find me running around on a 2007 BMW 1200GSA after a few years on the K bikes.
