All cables can stay connected to the unit while in the RAM cradle. The standard Garmin nuvi 2xx Series, including the nuvi 205, nuvi 255, nuvi 200, nuvi 250 and nuvi 260 WILL NOT fit this cradle. These units require the RAM-HOL-GA24 RAM Mount Cradle for the Garmin nuvi 2xx and nuvi 2x5 Series. The cradle includes a set of two nuts and bolts to connect the cradle to any of the RAM compatible mounts.
