G3
I purchased these gloves due to one of my old G3 style gloves (predecessor to this model) stopped working and found these were being offered at a very good price. The old ones were previously repaired last season and up to that point I had them for 5 years. I plan to have them repaired again. I ordered and received these gloves knowing that they were of different design. They are lighter and more supple and seemed to provide just as much heat as my old ones. I received them near the end of the winter so I never got to try them in temps in the 20's or colder. At low to mid 30's they did well. They are a little snug getting the gauntlet over the end of my jacket sleeves but it doesn't pose a big problem. I normally wear a L but I ordered the XL and they fit very well and are extremely comfortable. I still like my old Gerbings better but these gloves do just as well and I couldn't find a better price.

Gerbing Heated jacket liner and G3 gloves
After about 40 years of motorcycle riding year-round I finally broke down [was able to afford] to try using heated clothing. How nice! Not just when it is below freezing but also when you have been on the road all day and your body needs a break from the constant drain of warmth. The Gerbing G3 gloves are the best gloves that I have ever had even if they were not heated. I have to resist wearing them when I don't need the heating. The leather is of really fine quality, get that Nikwax on there soon before it rains! This is my second set now. Here is why; any heated clothing is going to break eventually with constant use because flexing wires will not hold up for ever. My mistake was not to save my receipts for the lifetime warranty and also things tend to break when you need them the most. The jacket connections to my gloves broke and I did not want to wait 4-6 weeks for Gerbing to repair. Save your receipts and have a plan B in place.
